I took a lot of artistic license to bend Keystone Resort, Colorado in way to show all the activities in one 8.5 x 11″ vertical image.
Last, summer I drew a similar map. These are a bit time consuming, but they are fun to do. I draw the art with marker on hot press illustration board. I scan them in and add the color in PhotoShop. The type overlays are then added in Illustrator.
